This Arrow is made for all Games including Amtgard, Belagarth, Dahohir and Darkon and many more. These are friendly enough for those dreaded headshots as well.
The strike head foam is 3in diameter with one inch of cylindrical compressional foam with half inch dome of the same light weight but dense Pu open cell foam piece And 1in thick 2.5in 4lb foam disk behind that.
Then a penny (Dahohir spec) carpet taped and secured on top of 1.25in stainless steel fender washer, and rubber foot buffer with a 3/4in 8/32 thread machine screw keeping them together. And allowing it to be screwed on the arrow without the arrowhead unscrewing from shooting.
Then a 1.5in wide 1in thick 4lb foam disk backing the washer with a 2in 3/4 PEC pipe, to stabilize and allows the arrow head to be threaded on an arrow.
The Arrowhead design has been tested with a 65 to 70 lb compound bow against plywood over 30 times and did not have a failure, other than the arrow itself disintegrating at the head but did not puncture through or fall out and flight nor did fall off. Having the same result with the lancerhead.
And and endurance tests against plywood was shot 100 times against plywood with 35 lb bow and showed no failure or wear.
In both tests these arrowheads were assembled on the spot and shot and took an apart in live video to show results. Only result that happened is the penny Bowing. Also doing these tests with the Lancer Arrow which does not have a penny there was no sign of wear or failure. And this test with the hammerhead Arrow without penny and did not have any Arrowhead failure but due to game rules like Dag/Bel the penny is added per rule set.
Please arrowheads have 1.6 oz diamond ripstop which is light and durable and secured in place with a heat shrink with heat activated adhesive to keep the arrowhead cover from ever coming off.
These arrowheads screw on but can be taped down although not needed. the rubber bucking insert keeps it from unscrewing and also acts as shock absorption.
Also the arrow is 3 in wide for Darkon, and also does not go through a 2.5 inch ring more than half an inch.
Penny and Pec pipe safe. now in the pictures you can see a cut out of the arrow build and the layers and which it is made.
