This Arrow head is built for Larps like Amtgard.
The face of the arrow is made out of a half a ball of opencell polyurethane foam that is 2.8in diameter, on top of a 2.8 in disk of 1in 4lb foam. With fiberglass carpet tape in between holding them together.
All built upon a mechine screw base and washer with rubber bucking with a sleeve of 4lb xple foam with a Pex tube to allow it to be srewed on any arrow that has standard arrow threads of 8/32. This combination behind the washer allows it to be screwed on securely and so it doesnt unscrew due to the tension cause by the rubber bucking.
And wrapped with clear tape not covering the surface of the open cell strike face spiraling all the way down and slowly being torqued all the way to the pec pipe. Making a rigid yet safe Arrowhead that is also then covered with hyper d200 ripstop
The arrow head only goes threw a 2.5in ring .5in.
These are now in there 3rd Gen. Now it just uses heat shrink to bind on the the cover and added arrow head stability and can be sealed to the era without any tape just use heat gun around end of heat shrink to bind to Arrow if you feel you need it to bonded to arrow.
